Three plans are priced by the number of items you track: a report you add Pixies to, or a semantic model or data agent you are preparing for AI. There are no usage meters, no per-user fees, and no overage charges.

What's included in the Free plan
Every BI Pixie account starts free, whether you use BI Pixie Cloud or the Fabric Workload, and the Free plan does not expire.
- A free AI Readiness assessment for up to 500 semantic models and data agents The first assessment of each semantic model and data agent is free, for up to 500 items in your account, semantic models and data agents together, and does not use up a tracked item. On the Free plan you can run up to 10 assessments a day.
- 1 tracked report, and 1 tracked semantic model or data agent The two allowances are separate, so you can track usage of one report and prepare one semantic model or data agent for AI at the same time.
- 1 AI benchmark run on your tracked semantic model More runs are included with a paid plan. You can generate benchmarks without running them, to evaluate the value you can get.
- In-report feedback and embedded surveys on your tracked report Report viewers can leave feedback and answer embedded surveys without leaving the report. On the paid plans, in-report feedback and embedded surveys are included from the Pro plan up.
- The BI Pixie dashboard In BI Pixie Cloud, the dashboard refreshes once a day for the first 30 days after you first install it, and once a week after that. The Fabric Workload does not limit refreshes this way. Fair use is 5,000 monthly sessions. Above that, BI Pixie refreshes the dashboard less often until usage drops back, and the extra usage is never billed.

The price is flat, sized to your deployment, and agreed up front, with no usage meters and no overage charges.
All paid plans are two months cheaper when you pay annually: you pay for 10 months and get 12. Fair use applies wherever BI Pixie stores your telemetry, in BI Pixie Cloud and in the Fabric Workload alike: A session = one person using one report on one day. Sessions are never billed. With data residency your telemetry lands in your own OneLake, and there is nothing of BI Pixie's to meter.

Run BI Pixie entirely in your own Azure tenant
On the Enterprise plan, BI Pixie can run entirely in your Azure tenant with exclusive features: performance monitoring via Azure Log Analytics, Fabric Real-Time Intelligence integration, and more. A self-hosted deployment is also the right home for very high usage, where running in your own Azure keeps cost under your control.
Pricing is based on your deployment scope, and includes dedicated onboarding and an Azure architecture review.
If you are already live in Microsoft Fabric, the BI Pixie Workload runs natively there on the same BI Pixie licensing as Cloud, with no infrastructure to deploy. The Standard plan starts free.

How does the Free plan work?
Every BI Pixie account starts on the Free plan, in BI Pixie Cloud and in the Fabric Workload. You can assess the AI Readiness of up to 500 semantic models and data agents, track one report you add Pixies to, and track one semantic model or data agent that you optimize and run the AI benchmark against once. The two allowances are separate, so you can measure one report and prepare one semantic model or data agent for AI at the same time. The tracked report includes in-report feedback and embedded surveys, which the paid plans include from the Pro plan up. The fastest way to start is the BI Pixie Workload for Microsoft Fabric, and the Free plan also includes the BI Pixie dashboard within a fair-use allowance of 5,000 monthly sessions. In BI Pixie Cloud, the Free plan's dashboard refreshes once a day for the first 30 days after you first install it, and once a week after that. The Fabric Workload does not limit refreshes this way. When you are ready for more, the paid Standard plan includes 10 tracked items, 3 benchmark runs in total, and a 50,000-session allowance for $149/mo.
What is a tracked item?
A tracked item is a report you add Pixies to, or a semantic model or data agent you are preparing for AI. Reports are counted separately from semantic models and data agents. A semantic model becomes a tracked item when you assess it a second time, optimize it, or run a benchmark against it, whether or not a report on it is tracked. A data agent becomes a tracked item on its second assessment, or on the first change you apply to it, whatever semantic models it is grounded on. Using a data agent in a benchmark or an A/B test never makes it a tracked item. The first assessment is free on every plan, for up to 500 distinct items, semantic models and data agents together. Your plan includes a set number of tracked items: 10 on the Standard plan, 50 on the Pro plan, and 500 on the Enterprise plan. Unlimited tracked items are available as part of an Enterprise plan quote. On the paid plans that count is pooled, so a report, a semantic model, and a data agent each use one of the plan's items. The Free plan instead includes two named allowances: one tracked report, and one tracked semantic model or data agent. Once an item is tracked, you reassess and optimize it without limit. Removing Pixies from a report, or deleting a semantic model's results, does not free the slot: once counted, an item stays counted.
What is fair use, and what counts as a session?
Fair use applies wherever BI Pixie stores your telemetry, in BI Pixie Cloud and in the Fabric Workload alike. Every plan includes a monthly allowance: 5,000 on the Free plan, 50,000 on the Standard plan, 75,000 on the Pro plan, and 250,000 on the Enterprise plan. A session = one person using one report on one day. One person opening a report five times in a day counts as one; one person using three reports counts as three. Exceeding this allowance only slows dashboard refresh until usage drops back below it. It never results in additional charges. With data residency your telemetry lands in your own OneLake, and there is nothing of BI Pixie's to meter.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately, so you get instant access to the higher plan's features and limits. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, so you keep your current plan until then.
How does proration work when I upgrade?
Stripe. When you upgrade mid-cycle, you are credited for the unused portion of your current plan and charged the prorated cost of the new plan for the remainder of the billing period. From the next cycle onward, you are billed the flat new rate.
Microsoft Marketplace. Plan changes take effect immediately and are prorated by Microsoft based on the remaining days in your billing cycle. You can manage your subscription from the Azure SaaS management page.

How does pricing work on the Enterprise plan?
The Enterprise plan starts from $30,000/yr, one flat annual price that includes 500 tracked items and unlimited report viewers. Unlimited tracked items are available as part of your quote when the dashboard runs on your own Fabric capacity or in your own Azure. We size your plan to your deployment and agree your limits up front, so there are no per-user fees, no usage meters, and no overage charges. The price scales only with what genuinely grows for a larger organization: the size of your Power BI estate, the divisions you license, your data sovereignty requirements, and the depth of service. Do you charge per user?
No. You are never billed per user on any plan. Pricing is based on tracked items only.
What if we have more reports, semantic models and data agents than the Pro plan includes?
That is what the Enterprise plan is for. It starts at 500 tracked items for one flat price, and unlimited tracked items on your own capacity are available as part of your quote.
Billing & Marketplace
Do you offer monthly and annual billing?
Yes, on both the Standard and Pro plans. Both are two months cheaper when you pay annually: you pay for 10 months and get 12. The Enterprise plan is annual only. You can switch billing cycles from the Plans page in the BI Pixie portal (Stripe) or from the Azure SaaS management page (Marketplace).
How can I pay?
Two options: pay directly via Stripe using a credit card, ACH bank transfer, or other supported payment methods, or bill through the Microsoft Marketplace and consolidate BI Pixie with your existing Azure spend. You can manage your Marketplace subscription from the Azure SaaS management page. Both options are available at checkout for the self-serve plans.
What is the difference between Stripe and Marketplace billing?
Stripe charges your payment method directly, and you manage your subscription, invoices, and payment method from the BI Pixie portal. Plan changes, billing cycle switches, and cancellations are instant and self-service.

Security & Data
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your telemetry is stored in dedicated, isolated storage for your account, encrypted at rest and in transit, and accessible only to your account. BI Pixie never accesses your underlying Power BI data; it captures only the interaction telemetry the Pixies produce. BI Pixie collects viewer user names only when you turn on Capture user identity, and until then it counts viewers by a masked IP address. When you turn it on, you choose on the Account page whether BI Pixie keeps each viewer's email address, a masked ID or nothing.
